Welcome

A sassy but grateful Mormon girl blogging about faith, disability, and the love of tacos.

Hi, I'm Heather. If you were sitting next to me, wanting to talk about faith or disability or adoption or overcoming addictions or whatever else is on your heart, I would invite you to come with me for frozen yogurt and a long drive. I believe some of the best moments in life happen when you have no idea where you are but you do know the people you're with.

The first things I want people to know about me are that I'm an incredibly imperfect follower of Christ, that I'm constantly thankful for my wonderful family and friends, and that I believe having joy is a choice.

I'm a person with a lot of labels. I'm a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I'm a West Virginian, a Mormon, a cripple, and a spoonie. I'm a sass master, a prankster, and a snail mail lover. I'm a small branch young women's president and gospel principles teacher, formerly a ward missionary and institute president.

Most importantly, I'm a daughter of God, and I want the world to see what He's done for me.
